instructions to authors
The Observatory of social and political elites of Brazil Newsletter (ISSN 2359-2826) accepts only original research notes. They must bring forward substantive empirical research findings from yet unpublished data analysis and evidence. Research notes must contain up to 2.5 thousand words. The final decision on publication rests with the Editor based on the evaluation from two peer reviewers. Submitted manuscripts will be assessed by means of a double-blind system.
The research note abstract must be written in an IMRAD format (introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion). The title of the research note may contain up to 150 characters with spaces. Each footnote must not exceed 400 characters with spaces. Bibliographical references must be presented at the end of the research note in alphabetical order, and under the author-date Harvard standard.
